Graphify: turn a codebase into a queryable knowledge graph

Our verdict
Useful when an agent keeps losing the shape of a large repo or a folder of notes: Graphify extracts structure (AST and call graphs for code; Claude for docs, papers and images), then you query paths and explanations instead of re-pasting files. The happy path is Claude Code (/graphify); pip installs the CLI as graphifyy while the graphify name is reclaimed. Do not repeat the README's token-multiplier benchmarks; measure on your own corpus. Needs Claude Code and Python 3.10+ for the documented skill flow.
- Who it's for
- Claude Code users who keep a mixed folder of code, docs and papers and want persistent, queryable structure for the agent

What it does
Graphify (Graphify-Labs/graphify, Apache-2.0) installs as a Claude Code skill plus a graphify CLI. It builds a graph from code (tree-sitter AST and call-graph pass), markdown/text, PDFs and images, and supports query, path and explain commands, watch mode, wiki/SVG/GraphML/Neo4j exports, a post-commit hook, and graphify ./raw --mcp for an MCP stdio server. Community ports and importers exist (for example Rootly's incident importer). Follow Graphify-Labs/graphify as the official repo; some install snippets still mirror skill files from an older safishamsi/graphify path.
How builders use it
- pip install graphifyy && graphify install (or pipx install graphifyy), with Claude Code available.
- Point it at a folder: /graphify ./raw or graphify on a path, then /graphify query "…".
- Export or serve: --wiki, --svg, --graphml, --neo4j, or --mcp for other MCP clients.
- Optional: graphify hook install so the graph rebuilds after each commit.
What to expect
A persistent graph of a codebase or research folder your agent can query by concept and path.

# Official source: github.com/Graphify-Labs/graphify
# Requires Claude Code + Python 3.10+
pip install graphifyy && graphify install
# If PATH misses the CLI: pipx install graphifyy
# In Claude Code, on a folder of code/docs:
/graphify ./raw
/graphify query "what connects auth to the billing webhook?"
/graphify path "CheckoutController" "StripeWebhook"
# Optional MCP stdio server:
/graphify ./raw --mcpRelated discoveries
